What if the Big Bang did happen, but galaxies sprang fully formed from that process, rather than coalescing from smaller bits due to gravity, as is often suggested? That would explain why spiral galaxies behave like fermions while elliptical galaxies behave like bosons. I invite you to read these two Medium posts:
