I took LSD in the 1970's. Had good trips where I laughed with friends until my face hurt. But then I had a trip or two where friends appeared to turn into monsters. Also saw the negative effects on people's mental health AFTER the drug wore off, so I stopped and never took it again. It's also way too powerful a drug to be operating a motor vehicle or any kind of equipment, so an isolated or controlled environment is a must. I've always thought that the time I would LEAST like to be on LSD is when I have already been diagnosed with a terminal illness. I can't think of a worse thing to have in mind as the drug kicked in.
