Boy, I'll never understand statistics! That there could be "a 95% probability that temperatures will rise between 2.3°C and 4.5°C" but only "a 5% probability that temperatures will rise between 2.0°C and 5.7°C," when the second range of temperatures *encompasses* the first range?! I am so dumb for not being able to understand that! It seems like if the actual temperature rose to, say, the midway point of the first range (95% possibility) then it would automatically have fulfilled the requirements of the second range (5% possibility).
